Despite the existing acoustic ceiling, the reverberation time in this museum was still so high that the client was looking for an additional solution to bring significantly more peace and quiet into the hall. Together with a Marburg joinery, the idea was born to construct the large cubes, on which heavy paintings were to hang, in an acoustically effective way.
Acoustic felt with a design felt lamination formed the outer finish. This solution finally brought noticeably more peace and quiet to the museum halls.
